HAND BUILDING AND POTTERY WHEEL

We are working in small groups, where we can provide personal attention to each student. Our instruments are 4 lathes, 2 ovens and an industrial laminator. Each class lasts 2 hours, once a week at pre-arranged times. No previous knowledge is required.

As for the creation of pieces, we are going to teach you everything from the beginning. If you are a beginner you will learn to knead clay, to make your pieces by hand as well as sculpture and construction with the churros or sheets method. You will also use the potter’s wheel. Each technique is very different from each other but you will learn to combine them to create a variety of different opportunities.

Included are soft drinks, coffee or tea, and all materials, tools, clay and burning.
