Give a Ceramics Course as a gift

A month to start (or resume) ceramics calmly: 2 hours per week, small groups and a caring environment in our workshops in Gràcia and Eixample.

This gift card includes 4 classes (2 h/week) in a caring environment and small groups. The experience combines technical learning and enjoyment of the process so that the person makes their pieces from start to finish.

What is included

• Hand modeling: pinch, churros and plates.

• Potter's wheel: first contact, centering and shaping.

• Retorneado: refining of the forms and finishing of the ring foot.

• Decoration with engobes: color, textures and details.

• Enameling: preparation and application of enamels.

• Baking: sponge cake and high temperature (≈1250 °C).

• All material, tools and furnaces are included.

How it works

1. Buy the card and choose digital PDF or pick it up at the workshop.

2. We will ask you for the name of the person who will receive it.

3. When you write to us, we will send you the available shifts for you to choose day and time, space (Gràcia or Eixample) and language (Spanish, Catalan, English or Italian). Our shifts: Monday to Friday (morning and afternoon) and Saturday mornings.

4. Important: we cannot guarantee a specific time in advance; the assignment depends on the actual availability at the time. From the first contact of the cardholder, the validity of the card is automatically extended for an additional 6 months, and during that period we will coordinate the 4 classes on days and times that suit you.

5. During the month, you will do modeling, lathe, turning, engobes and enameling; at the end, you will pick up your pieces ready to use.

Conditions

• Validity: 6 months from purchase to start of the month of classes.

• Make-ups: 1 class per month with 6 hours notice.

• Languages: Spanish, Catalan, English and Italian.

Delivery and contact

• Digital PDF delivery or pick up at the workshop.

• If you prefer to pay by bank transfer or dataphone at the workshop, we can arrange it without any problem.

Method of purchase and use

When buying:

• You must leave your information (name, last name, email and phone number) in the Payment Gateway so we can contact you and coordinate the delivery of the Card. If you are buying for 2 or more people, we can send one card for each of them or one card for all of them.
• We will ask you for the first and last name of the cardholder (person or persons who will use the Gift Card) in order to register them and wait for them to write to us.
• You can choose to pick it up at the workshop in person or the printable PDF version that we will send you by e-mail.

To use the Card:

• Gift Card holder(s) should contact us at taller@tierraceramicas.com or to our WhatsApp (+34 680 67 65 74) in order to coordinate a place for the 4 classes. We kindly ask you to use these means, since while we are giving classes we cannot ensure telephone attention.
• The Gift Card expires 6 months from the date of purchase. From the first contact of the cardholder, the validity of the card is automatically extended for an additional 6 months.
• It is important to note that, as it is a gift, Tierra Cerámicas will not contact the cardholder for the first time. We are waiting for an email or WhatsApp message from the cardholder to coordinate.
• The Gift Card is redeemable for a place for 4 classes (Beginners Course) or for the total of 195 euros for workshops published on the web. No refunds will be made for price differences.
