A contemporary ceramics workshop where people with no previous experience come to create with their hands, disconnect from routine and share a different moment after work.
It’s not about “knowing how to make pottery”, but about taking your time, getting your hands dirty and enjoying the process.

Barro Lab Experience
Explore the world of ceramics in a 3-hour workshop designed to discover the pleasure of working with clay, without previous experience.
We will start with an introduction to the ceramic process and then you will get down to work.
First, you will model a piece by hand, exploring shapes, textures and applying decoration techniques. Then, you will try the potter’s wheel, where you will create a second piece guided step by step.
Once finished, your pieces will go through the drying and baking process.
After 4 weeks, you will be able to remove them ready for use.
What does it include?
✔️ All necessary materials, tools and muds.
✔️ Burning of your pieces in a ceramic kiln.
✔️ Small groups for a personalized experience (maximum 5 people).
✔️ Accompaniment and guidance throughout the process.

Lathe test session
A first contact with the potter’s wheel.
In this 2-hour session, you will learn the basics of working on the wheel, experiment with clay and create your first piece guided step by step.
It is a proposal designed for those who are considering joining our monthly lathe classes and want to get a feel for the material before making a commitment.
What is included?

We invite you to disconnect, create and share a relaxed experience among friends in our new space, El Patio de Tierra, located in the heart of Eixample (Mallorca 91).
During the workshop you will be able to make a personalized bowl or glass with your own hands, playing with textures or decorating with colors while enjoying a glass of wine and a delicious pica pica.
Your piece will be ready after 3-4 weeks, when it has completed its drying and firing process. We will let you know so you can pick it up in our workshop.
